RebaseNest exists because the return-to-India question is a numbers question: residency, account changes, currency, city costs and household commitments interact. A single corpus estimate cannot answer all of them.
This site provides free, browser-only calculators that show their working and articles linked to sources. It is maintained part-time and independently.
Verifiable working
Published residency boundary cases run through the same engine as the calculator. The simulator also publishes focused family-cost accounting cases. These tests make specific behavior checkable, not every output guaranteed.
Rules and assumptions have limits. Residency classification does not determine the tax treatment of every receipt, and investment projections cannot establish that a household can safely retire.
