Changelog and corrections
· update
Verified the existing correction for double-counted school costs. Option A keeps child living costs separate from education. The Bangalore Gold sample, with children aged 8 and 12 and an assumed Rs 100,000 lifestyle budget, remains Rs 121,840 per month before and after this run. Its simple 3.5% withdrawal illustration remains Rs 41,773,714; this is not a retirement survival forecast. Four public fixtures now guard the accounting.

Residency citations now select the 1961 or 2025 Act by year. Thirteen boundary cases give identical decisions across the Act transition. Calendar wording no longer suggests that banking changes can wait for RNOR to end.

Disabled cloud financial sync and analytics replay, removed GA4, restricted analytics to categorical properties, and moved new input-bearing links to browser fragments. The privacy policy now describes device-only scenarios and separately disclosed optional submissions.

Removed simulated visitor activity and the mock dashboard. The homepage now shows the actual tool catalog and a labelled screenshot of published RNOR reference case 2.

Added quick and expert modes, an editable ten-year history, local trip-day counting and a private history handoff to the Window Planner.

Repaired inconsistent four-year and seven-year totals in cases 5, 6 and 9 without changing their expected verdicts. Removed the unsupported implication that a tax-residency certificate alone establishes foreign tax liability. All 13 reference cases must now return zero warnings.

Replaced unsupported review-pipeline promises with a source-record policy, distinguished update dates from verification dates, and added an explicit optional correction channel. Missing historical verification records are identified rather than assigned new dates.

Added five Window Planner reference cases and six banking-date cases. Expected outputs are declared separately and mismatches fail the build. Bank-date cases do not certify all RFC eligibility or tax statements.

Linked structured data to the RebaseNest organization, added visible article FAQs matching their schema, and extracted primary citations from each article. Citation extraction does not establish that an article was reverified.

Merged the overlapping banking guides, removed invented grace periods and corrected the claim that permitted FCNR(B) continuation is itself a contravention. Current RBI RFC credit rules replace the unsupported one-year-abroad shortcut. The planner now treats an unsettled purpose as unresolved and flags unverified 2025 interest-tax provisions.

Replaced premature retirement verdicts with blank required inputs, direct cash runway and a separate 3%-4% withdrawal range. The entered city budget is no longer silently multiplied by a rent benchmark. Withdrawals are not investment returns or guaranteed income, and the illustration does not establish retirement readiness. The shared simulator engine and stored scenarios were not changed.

Added separate date-specific FEMA and selected-year income-tax results using a shared device-only India trip log. Thirteen published fixtures cover the strict preceding-year threshold, purpose exclusions and return-date differences. The explainer now cites RBI sources that were read, separates immediate NRE/NRO action from permitted FCNR maturity, and identifies verification limits.

Added 45 linked planning actions across seven return phases, local progress, printable pages and calendar checkpoints. Phase dates are not legal deadlines. The optional gated email sends only an email address and landing date, not progress; confirmation enables landing reminders only. The related explainer no longer states an unverified Form 67 deadline or defers immediate NRE action.

Added six ordered return-stage reading lists and article breadcrumbs. Every listed article has one stage; each calculator links to three articles and another tool. The blog remains chronological. A US-accounts overview distinguishes provider policies from the IRS reporting guidance actually reviewed. Taxonomy does not confer source verification on legacy articles.

Added an embeddable RNOR calculator using the existing engine. Only embed subroutes permit framing; the main-site policy is unchanged. The frame omits lead forms, sharing and site chrome, uses no cookies and allows only hostname-level embed telemetry. Host documentation includes attribution and privacy limits.

Replaced the retired origin-ratio comparator with a comparison of entered household budgets. The India budget is invariant across seven overseas origins; only currency conversion uses the provider-dated server FX snapshot. Missing dated rates do not receive a made-up fallback. RNOR, Window and banking tools now offer origin-country notes without changing their engines or financial inputs.

Expanded the server-rendered simulator introduction with explicit beta limits, device-only storage, public reference cases and three actual sample-household screenshots. The client application and saved-scenario contracts are unchanged; no account or cloud sync is required or enabled.

Added an explicitly consented return-experience submission mechanism behind the existing email feature gate. The exact fields are previewed before a plaintext support email; no story database or automatic publication exists. No stories have been published and no Stories navigation item has been added.

Retained underlying RNOR diagnostics in planner candidates and made public reference checks reject reported warnings. Shared correctness pages now display the checked warning total. Retired editorial routes redirect at the page boundary as well as middleware, so obsolete review-pipeline claims are no longer generated.
